Meet this year's Advisory Board

The Wireless Power Summit team are working with the following panel of industry experts to shape the 2017 conference agenda, ensuring that all the most pressing issues are addressed:

  • LeRoy Johnson

    Engineering Consultant Johnson Product Development, LLC

    Mr. Johnson is the principal in a product development firm that specializes in bringing high tech state of the art solutions to market.  He was previously the Senior Director of Emerging Technologies for Leggett & Platt.  Mr. Johnson has about 25 US patents and has been awarded 4 international innovation awards.  He was a pioneer in the wireless power development of charging mobile phones.  He sat on the Steering Committee for the Wireless Power Consortium (WPC), chaired both the Automotive Applications Group and the Infrastructure Applications Group for the WPC, and currently chairs the International Wireless Power Summits.  His diverse clientele are engaged in deploying wireless power, IoT and other technologies to introduce disruptive products into various market niches.

  • Vladimir A. Muratov

    Principal Engineer MediaTek

    Mr. Muratov is enthusiastically exploring wireless power technologies since 2010.   At MediaTek he is responsible for architecting, defining and implementing advanced ASICs for wireless power systems.  Vladimir is MediaTek/RichTek representative to Wireless Power Consortium fueling innovation of wireless power technology, magnetic components and contributing to the development of the Qi standard.   Over his career Vladimir has been with several major semiconductor companies and has extensive power converter and electronic component experience, holds Ph.D. degree in power electronics and has more than 30 patents to his credit. 

  • Ron Resnick

    President & Chairman of the Board AirFuel Alliance

    Ron Resnick is a business development professional with over 25 years of experience successfully growing high technology businesses and their ecosystems. Ron serves as President and Chairman of the Board for AirFuel Alliance, continuing the role he occupied within Power Matters Alliance. From 2002 - 2012, Ron filled various roles at Intel and as President and Chairman of the Board of the WiMAX Forum, an industry association driving 4G wireless broadband. At Intel, Ron launched and served as General Manager of Intel's Broadband Wireless business startup delivering one of the first 4G broadband modems. Initial role at Intel included Intel Capital Investment Director and Director of New Business Development at Intel's Architecture Labs, successfully funding and managing the launch of multiple seed and new business ventures. Earlier in his career, Ron was Vice President of Marketing at a computer peripherals manufacturer and developed one of the first VOIP instant messaging applications. Prior to his contributions in the corporate world, Ron also served as a pilot in the U.S. Air Force.

  • Andy Sultenfuss

    Senior Distinguished Engineer, End-User Computing Dell Corporation

    Andy Sultenfuss is a Distinguished Engineer with Dell Corporation. Working in the Dell End User Customer Technology Office (EUC - CTO) Andy leads studies on Mobile technology with focus on Power, Integration and Communications.  Wireless power, Wireless performance are key studies for Andy. Before joining EUC-CTO, He worked 10 years as the Latitude Architect doing Mobile system design. Holding 58 US patents Andy has twice been Dell inventor of the year.

  • Chris T. Burket

    Senior Marketing Engineer TDK Corporation of America

    Chris T. Burket joined TDK Corporation of America in 1995 and has held several Sales, Marketing and Engineering positions. He has been involved in product design, technical sales and marketing, and has been awarded over 20 worldwide. patents. Chris' current position is as a Senior Marketing Engineer supporting Wireless Power Transfer shields, coil assemblies and modules, as well as numerous other related passive components.   • Charlie Wu

    Senior Principle Engineer NXP

    Charlie Wu is a Senior Principle Engineer within the NXP’s  Microcontroller Business Unit. He has been responsible for digital power product roadmap and product definitions and customer technical support  since 2000. Mr. Wu specializes in power electronics, digital control, motion control and wireless power applications, as well as MCU architecture. Currently he has the system and architecture responsibility of digital power and wireless power transfer, and chairman of the specification working group in WPC.  He published more than 10 articles and conference papers.
